CAVALOR® Sozen – Professional Line
Indication for use
Many sport horses perform below their ability because they are stressed and not able to focus on the competition. Stress, nervousness, panic, lack of concentration, are descriptions for a very complex problem. There is still no universal effective way of fully calming horses without using sedation (not allowed during competition!) while at the same time increasing their concentration to the maximum.
By obtaining more insight in the complexity of the problem, Cavalor has managed to develop Cavalor Sozen. This is the first equine supplement that works on the Adrenaline – Cortisol balance. Cavalor found out that stress is caused by long periods of tension. Stress will disbalance the hormonal system, by producing too much Adrenaline and too little Cortisol. The more the adrenaline – cortisol balance is disturbed, the greater the impact of a tension moment will be.
Position and safety of the product
Cavalor Sozen is a well-balanced herbal mixture of Avena Sativa, Betula, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Allium sativa. It will reduce the impact on tension on the horse, which will create less stress into the horse.
Dosage and application of the products
Cavalor Sozen: The first time you use Cavalor Sozen you have to give a Starting Boost of minimal 10 days 30 g per day (four scoops). This is needed to rebalance the Adrenaline – Cortisol balance. REMARK; sometimes after 4 – 5 days the horse might even get a little more tensed, but this is because the Cavalor Sozen starts to work on the balance. After the Startup boost you can use Cavalor Sozen 2 days, 15 gr / day (two scoops) before the day on which the horse should be calm. Maximum dosage: 60 grams per day.
Most horses react well to Cavalor Sozen. If the horse has not calmed down sufficiently with the use of the individual products, it is advisable to combine Cavalor Sozen with Cavalor Take It Easy, which is rich in tryptophan, that works more on the Methionine/ Serotonin balance and is very complementary to Cavalor SoZen.
It contains a high dose of tryptophan and has a calming effect on the horse. Ideal for stressful situations.
Packaging: 1 syringe of 60 cc.

Can be combined with Cavalor Pianossimo, Cavalor SoZen or Cavalor Calm for optimal results

Ignatia Amara-based calming action supplement
Formulated only with natural ingredients.
Quietex is a product based on plant extracts that allows you to overcome, in a natural way, all the stress situations to which the horse is subjected.
Quietex is therefore particularly suitable for the management of nervous subjects in the imminence of competitive activities, transport, ironing practices or veterinary visits.
In particular, the transport of horses must respond to the needs of well-being, speed and safety, since the trip is still a stressful factor for the horse, which could also affect the outcome of the subsequent competitive performance. . It is therefore essential to ensure that the horse is transported in the best possible condition.
The particular sensitivity of some subjects to be transported sometimes leads to the use of so-called ‘chemical constrictors’ whose administration should always be carried out under veterinary control.
Quietex is a viable alternative to the use of drugs that could depress certain structures of the nervous system, altering the psycho-physical balance of the horse.
Quietex does not cause sensor alterations, leaving the horse alert and responsive, while also avoiding excessive reactions to noise and moving objects.
Quietex allows the treated subjects to face the competitions in the best conditions, so that they can best express their performance.
Due to its natural composition, the administration of Quietex can also be safely administered by transport personnel.
Quietex is available in oral dough, in very practical single-dose syringes for quick administration, or powder whose use is particularly cheap.
Quietex oral paste: give, in the oral cord, 1 syringe two hours before competition or transport. If the journey is extended, give a second syringe after eight hours.
Quietex Powder: mix to the diet 1 scoop per day (30 grams), without taking into account the weight of the subject.

Tryptophan-based calming supplement
Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, that is, it must be introduced with food because the body is not able to produce it. In addition to being a key amino acid in protein synthesis, tryptophan is the starting point for the synthesis of certain biological substances, such as serotonin and melatonin.
Serotonin is a neurotransmitter, also known as “good mood hormone”; melatonin, on the other hand, is very important in regulating the sleep-wake cycle. Low levels of tryptophan are associated, in humans and in several animal species, including horse, with insomnia, depression and other mood issues, such as irritability and aggression.
In contrast, high levels of tryptophan, and therefore serotonin, reduce states of fear and stress. It is well known that in some horses, more than in others, some potentially stressful situations, such as competitions or transport, can induce excitatory states, decreased concentration, increased aggression. Whenever it is necessary to have a serene horse, well prepared for work and alert, B-Kalm, based on tryptophan, is the ideal solution.
B-Kalm is a product in dough packaged in a practical syringe tube that allows quick and easy administration before stressful events. The calming and soothing effect of B-Kalm is carried out in a short time, but without affecting the attention of the horse and therefore without reducing its concentration at work, thus avoiding a negative impact on the performances.
How to use it
Administer a syringe, on the back portion of the tongue, 1 hour and a half – 2 hours before exercise.

Magnesium with Vitamin B12 + E
Reduction of stress reactions
Additional Vitamin E
Stiefel Mag Plus Pellet is a dietary feed to reduce stress reactions. Magnesium and vitamin B12 have a positive effect on nervous and stressed horses. Feed-related deficiency symptoms can be compensated. Concentration and willingness to perform can be positively influenced. Additionally with vitamin E.
When the horse is under stress, all its performance reserves are activated in order to run away from or fight against danger. The muscles also tense up, including the heart muscle. Magnesium plays a special role for the heart muscle because as a counterpart of calcium it can normalise heart activity. Likewise, magnesium is increasingly secreted when stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline are released. During stress, therefore, more magnesium is needed for many processes – a magnesium deficiency, in turn, can intensify the effects of stress. In addition, vitamin B12 can have a strengthening effect on the nerves and promote concentration.
Horses (600kg bodyweight): 25g daily.
Small horses: 12g daily
1 measuring spoon = approx. 25g
Recommended feeding period: 2 to 4 weeks.
It is recommended to seek the advice of a professional before feeding. Store feed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use up quickly after opening. Store away from small children.
FOR STRONG NERVES
