Stiefel Mag Plus Pellet is a dietary feed to reduce stress reactions. Magnesium and vitamin B12 have a positive effect on nervous and stressed horses. Feed-related deficiency symptoms can be compensated. Concentration and willingness to perform can be positively influenced. Additionally with vitamin E.
When the horse is under stress, all its performance reserves are activated in order to run away from or fight against danger. The muscles also tense up, including the heart muscle. Magnesium plays a special role for the heart muscle because as a counterpart of calcium it can normalise heart activity. Likewise, magnesium is increasingly secreted when stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline are released. During stress, therefore, more magnesium is needed for many processes – a magnesium deficiency, in turn, can intensify the effects of stress. In addition, vitamin B12 can have a strengthening effect on the nerves and promote concentration.
Feeding instructions:
Horses (600kg bodyweight): 25g daily.
Small horses: 12g daily
1 measuring spoon = approx. 25g
Recommended feeding period: 2 to 4 weeks.

MSM is an active sulphur compound (methyl-sulfonyl methane) that can have positive effects in the event of joint problems. MSM or sulphurous amino acids or antioxidants are reported to have major benefits in connection with problems concerning the coat, hoof growth, laminitis (protein) and joint problems. MSM shows particularly good pain reduction effects in connection with arthrosis and swellings when combined with glucosamine and chondroitin or rampion.
Feeding recommendation:
Horses (600 kg body weight) 10 – 20 g per day
Small horses 5 – 10 g per day
(1 teaspoon = approx. 5 g)

Stiefel liquorice may have an expectorant function during coughing and relieve cramps and flatulence in the event of gastrointestinal problems.
Originated in the Mediterranean area and West Asia. Liquorice root can have positive effects on the respiratory tract by providing anti-inflammatory and decongestant effects. The sweeteners in the liquorice root also stimulate the water and salt metabolism and can have spasmolytic effects on the gastrointestinal tract. Natural ingredients: Glycyrrhizin, saponins, flavonoids, glycosides, coumarin.
Feeding recommendation:
Horses (600 kg body weight) 20 – 60 g per day
Small horses 10 – 30 g per day
Mix into the feed dry or brewed with the stock.

How to apply best:
It is very important to apply the RP1 over your horse’s whole body- the combination of spray and the gel is most effective. The spray comes out in a fine mist and is perfect for large areas like your horse’s back. The gel is applied specifically to the head, chest and stomach from below.
The product is effective immediately.
The RP1 Gel is also suitable for horses that are sensitive to the noise of the sprayer.
The active ingredient Icaridin used in the RP1 products is nearly odourless to humans and does not annoy either humans or horses with an unpleasant scent. Insects, on the other hand, are definitely deterred. When the RP1 is applied to the horse’s coat, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective cloud of scent that can last for several hours. In addition, the active ingredient Icaridin is very skin-friendly and is safe to use for people or horses with sensitive skin.
Application:
Spray sparingly onto the coat from a distance of approx. 25 cm. Apply to sensitive horses using a rag or use the RP1 gel instead.
Riders can apply the RP1 sparingly to the skin. Avoid sensitive parts of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils and mucous membranes).
